The Warner New York City street set The Warner Backlot: New York Street
Originally this street was built for the early Warner Bros. gangster films of James Cagney, Humphrey Bogart, George Raft and Edward G. Robinson. Currently one end of the street is used as the ambulance entrance for the hit series, E.R. . Prior to its current use, the street was seen in Bogart's The Big Sleep, The Great Race, House of Wax, Robin and the 7 Hoods, Yankee Doodle Dandy as well as having become a futuristic Los Angeles for Ridley Scott's Blade Runner and Hollywood Boulevard at Christmas time in Steven Spielberg's WW II comedy 1941.
